Back at the top of the table! (for a day at least)

You can't really see Benayoun in this BBC shot, but you can read all about it here.

Liverpool had a pretty tough game against Fulham last night. This match was of course preceded by impressive displays by Liverpool against Real Madrid (twice!), thumping ManYoo (also this season, twice) and in the last Premier League game before international World Cup qualifiers, humiliating fourth place hopefuls Aston Villa. Fulham however have also been impressive, defeating ManYoo in their last game 2-0. So it was that after 90 gruelling minutes of play, and 2 minutes into overtime, Liverpool finally hit the back of the net thanks to Yossi Benayoun, and the title race is fully back on.

But really, the title is still Manchester United's to lose. They still have a game in hand, and it's highly unlikely that anything more than a two-game losing streak will happen tonight.

But one can hope, right?
