Daniel Craig is The Man

Quantum of Solace isn't as amazing as Casino Royale, but it does deliver a lot of action and solid acting from Daniel Craig and Dame Judi Dench. The camerawork is phenomenal - chase sequences on land, air(!) and sea felt extremely solid. I swear you could feel the crunch of high-impact metal on metal, and the crashes between boats were significantly more satisfying than the conventional explosions you normally see in movies like this. And it helps that the camera's not too shaky during the fight scenes either (I'm looking at you, Bourne trilogy!).

Make no mistake, QoS is one of the best action movies of the year. As for the plot, it's very much connected to Casino Royale, so it helps to rewatch it. And it sets up a possibility for another sequel, though I'm not sure if they're going to do another interconnected story. As it is, though, this is a whole new Bond that's a lot more solid and fleshed out than Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan's Bonds. Sean Connery's still cool though.

Here's Jack White and Alicia Keys with "Another Way To Die." Loathe as I am to admit this, but this song lacks quite the same punch as Chris Cornell's Bond song, "You Know My Name." Anyways, here's the song:
